After months of working with Boeing and a new manufacturing factory it is great to finally have a new model to offer. The first Flight Miniatures 787-8 model arrived May 20, 2008 wearing the Boeing Demo colors livery.

We had hopped to have this model available before the end of 2007 but had some delays due to changes in the aircraft design and wanted to get the model right the first time rather than have to go back and re-tool some elements. You will find some nice new features on this model including spinning engine fans, a high gloss lacquer finish, and a weighted fuselage all of which will be standard on our new 787-8 models.
